Our ESD specialist seminars are designed so that they can be attended individually and at the same time build on each other in the best possible way. Each seminar deepens specific knowledge and prepares you to effectively implement ESD protection in your work area.
ESD 1 - Electro Static Discharge
The participants receive a sound basic knowledge of the physics of electrostatics and its damage mechanisms in electronic components. They will be familiarized with the necessary protective measures, the equipment and setup of an ESD protection zone (EPA) according to standard IEC DIN EN 61340-5-1 and others. You will receive an overview of the tasks of an ESD officer, as well as the measurement methods and measuring devices for electrostatics. Through a final performance review, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate Electro Static Discharge.
ESD 2 - Responsibility in the EPA
The participants receive a sound knowledge of the areas of responsibility, competencies and responsibility in the ESD protection zone (EPA). They receive guidance on the selection of protective materials (specifications) and are instructed in the planning, organization and implementation of audits and training. Through in-depth physical background knowledge, they are sensitized to the localization of possible ESD damage sources. The necessary knowledge of measurement and testing technology is deepened. Through a final performance review, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate ESD responsibility in the EPA.
ESD 3 - ESD Measurement
The participants learn normative and practicable measurement techniques of electrostatics in our practically equipped seminar rooms. In pairs, all required measurement tasks for protective materials and EPA equipment are carried out in measurement exercises. Through intensive supervision, measurement errors and problems are immediately identified and corrected. Through a final evaluation of the measurement results, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate ESD measurement technology.
ESD 4 - ESD in QM systems
The participants learn about the integration of ESD measures into the QM systems. Interrelationships and requirements from the ProdHaftG, BGB, DIN EN ISO 9001 / IEC DIN EN 61340-x-y are dealt with in detail and possible solutions are worked out. Through a final performance review, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate ESD in QM systems.
